Twitter - Stop It Suggesting Things "Of Interest"?

Hio - I have Twitter to basically follow a couple of famous people and see what they have to say.

I never sent a Tweet, I only read the few ones for the people I follow.

Is there a way in the app (iPhone) or web page, I can get it to stop it suggesting other topics etc. I "may" want to follow?

Also - recently I cannot even click the tiny "x" that apps in the app - for example I can see now " Sports - Follow Topic" and a tiny X to it which used to get rid of it and also see "less often" - but whatever I do (I am ham fisted) I cannot hit the X but open the damn topic up! I have even tried a stylus but no better

Is it now like Facebook - you cannot stop it suggesting things "it thinks might be of interest?

I don�t use the Twitter app or webpage because I really don�t find it user friendly. I use a third party app and don�t have any of the issues you mention. You could try that?
