Any Bristol Dibbers please

I am flying from Bristol on June 4th next year and have been trying to book as usual for the night before .
Surprisingly the Hampton at the airport and the Hilton Cadbury together with nearby Premier inns are showing up sold out.
I don’t know if this is an anomaly or is something happening. Has anyone information of any big event issues in the area that weekend.
I am aware that it is the amended bank holiday weekend.

I tried to book the holiday inn bristol airport and it come up with rooms? I think it was £115.

The Hilton Cadbury house hosts weddings so there may already be a wedding that weekend and the guests have booked the rooms.

I dont know of anything going on around that area otherwise.

Is it close to next years Glastonbury? - we find a lot of people fly into Bristol for that and stay local for a week or so, the press teams (who don't all stay on site) will stay local from 2-3 weeks before.

Weddings as someone else said takes out hotels in that area.

There are a lot of Air BnBs in the area (especially around Chew Lakes) - they may be a option

Premier Inn Bristol South (20 mins from airport) is coming up as available from £67 for the night which does seem higher than their standard rate of £49. Perhaps it is just the amended bank holiday weekend that is driving the prices up?

Thanks Wobbles but Glastonbury is not until 22nd June ? I have booked the Holiday Inn now with free cancellation in case the Hampton becomes available
