Does anyone own a Hotel Chocolat, hot chocolate velvetiser.

Really thinking about getting one but not sure if the price is justified.

Does anyone own one and what are your reviews on it?

Thanks in advance

I had one for Xmas last year. I’ve not used it as much as I thought as I have been on a diet since August and so too many calories. The drinks are very nice but it’s not the type of thing you would use everyday.

Is it worth £100? Not really but I’m glad I have it.

My boss managed to get one in the sale this year, think it was half price. Maybe keep an eye out for a sale? She loves it but says drinks portions aren't very big, I did think about getting one but I got a milk frother instead which does the job for our hot chocolates and less than half the price!

Good little device but there are other cheaper options that do the same job

I have a Dualit milk frother which is exactly the same minus the handle & branding. They’re around £50.

I got one with £20 off a couple of months ago, I really like it, you can use it with other types of hot chocolate as well, I had one earlier with skimmed milk and low cal hot chocolate mix which was lovely,

We use the milk frother that came with our Nespresso machine with the velvetiser chocolate sachets and it works brilliantly. My girls would highly recommend the chocolate

Don’t think I would pay £100 for something that can essentially be done in a pan

I got one bought as a gift for this Christmas...
Love the way it mixes it but it’s not as thick as it seems to show on the adverts!
It works out expensive per cup compared to say a Nespresso machine (but they don’t do chocolate ) my DH loves the cafe latte but at £1.40 a cup it’s definitely a treat!
Yes calorie wise they are calorific so will be going back to my ‘options’ ones that are 40 calories not nearly 400 !
There are definitely pros & cons in my opinion
