What is your recipe for stuffing?
Well, as the title says... what is your recipe, if you have one.
Mine is two portions of sausage meat, two sautéed onions, then fresh breadcrumbs, parsley, sage and thyme by eye... then salt and pepper. It is simple, but always very well received. Would love to see how everyone else makes it!

Packet of paxo (or similar), boiling water and butter mixed and made in to balls, cooked for 20 mins whilst we have our starters.
Honestly, I've tried every other sort of recipe going and stuffed the bird but it just doesn't go down well in our house. |

Tried sausage meat and thats how my mum made it, nobody likes it so it’s paxo and water with butter on top and baked on the oven

About six to eight slices of white bread made into breadcrumbs, four teaspoons dried parsley, one or two teaspoons dried thyme, a sprinkling of salt, about 2 ounces soft margarine all mixed together and stuffed into the turkey. It is a recipe given to me by my late MIL, who in turn got it from her mother.

We'd normally use Paxo, sausage meat, streaky bacon and dried apricots but not making it this year.

All measured by eye, but it’s sausage meat, onion, knob of butter, breadcrumbs, sage, clove of garlic and pepper.
Stuffed into the bird. Possibly one of my favourite parts of the Christmas meal |

Sausage meat, breadcrumbs, parsley, onions, digestive biscuits, milk and sherry. Sounds weird but is delish. Everyone who eats it asks for recipe.

I buy a big loaf and let it go a bit stale, turn this into breadcrumbs with salt, pepper lots of dried sage. Chop a ton of onions and boil on water till soft. Mix onions into bread crumbs using some of the onion water. Butter or oil several foil trays and fill them with stuffing. Made it last week and froze. Will defrost and bake in oven with butter on top. Yum... So much better than paxo, x
