Breakfast in dlp

Just booking a few restaurants for our hopeful trio in August. However we cannot book any breakfasts for our 4 days. We are in the Newport bay hotel
We may be too late as it's only 5 weeks away.
Can we just turn up for breakfast or will there be other options.
What's the best way to do breakfast if getting to the park early.
Thanks for any help and tips

You can’t book breakfast. (Except character breakfast when they start again.)

If you are staying Club level it is included. If not, if you have a dining plan it is included.

Otherwise, you can just walk up and pay if you want. It is pricey (about 25 Euros I think) so if you want to eat a huge buffet and be full enough to skip lunch, fine. If you only want a small breakfast, save your money.

For a small breakfast, there are several options in the Village. McDonalds, Starbucks or New York Style Sandwiches (a little gem - you can get a croissant, baguette, butter, jam, orange juice and coffee for a set price.

Annette’s in the Village does cooked breakfast but doesn’t open very early.

With all these options, bear in mind that you want to be queuing outside the park well before EMT starts. This is your best chance to do some of the most popular rides as walk-ons.

I don't know if where you can get the included breakfast has changed as I haven't looked at DLP offers recently but on my last trip, I would go for EMT in the park and then get breakfast at the QS there as my first break just before the end of service. I don't need to eat first thing though, so a later breakfast suits me fine.

Otherwise I would grab breakfast in the Village as you walk through, or even buy some pastries the evening before to have in the room before you set off to save time.

How could I forget Earl of Sandwich? DUH! Been away too long.

If you have time, go upstairs and sit at a window overlooking Lake Disney - bliss!

loldis, the ‘included breakfast in the park’ was dropped several years ago now. You can get pastries and coffee at various places in the parks.

Thanks everyone. We are half board plus. Whatever that allows I don't know.
But we will be getting there as early as possible.
What's the best ride to head for first. Please.

Ah, in that case you can eat all you want at the hotel buffet! Hooray!

As for rides - if you have little ones, go to Peter Pan first. It’s a 5-minute queue first thing, and has crazy queues all day once the park opens.

The other rides open during EMT in Fantasyland are usually Dumbo, Carousel and Teacups. If you want Dumbo this will be the quietest time to do it.

In Tomorrowland during EMH, Buzz Lightyear will also be quiet first thing, and has long queues later. Autopia is open I think (I never do it) and Orbitron. But the best to snag is Space Mountain. There never seems to be a queue for this at EMT (maybe everyone had a big breakfast). Star Tours doesn’t open until 10 but if you time it right you can finish EMT in Tomorrowland and then join the queue for the first Star Tours.

If you love the wildest ride in the wilderness though, forget all the above and head straight for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad as soon as you get in the park. It is open during EMT (regularly new, so lots of people don’t know). This is one of those rides that always has a huge queue, so definitely go there first if you want to ride it.

Extra Magic Time starts at 8.30 but, based on previous experience from my last trip in 2019, they usually let people in from 8am and a short while later they'll let you walk through the castle and then hold you in fantasyland before the rides open at 8.30. If you can get in as early as possible you'll be able to tick off a lot of the fantasyland rides in one go. I usually start with Peter Pan then head to the rest of fantasyland, and on to discoveryland if I have time.

Hope you manage to get there. We are booked for 3rd August, fingers crossed!
