Portofino Club Level

Hi, stopped at PB before but not club level. Is it worth the extra? What view do the rooms have?

We over looked a garden, nothing special at all but the club room is lovely. We have done RPR and the food choices were way better at PBH.

The club room is a lot bigger at PBH but its on the ground floor away from a lot of the rooms. Some people find this a pain but we were not too far away.

If you can afford it then do it

Hi, yes I've stayed at RPR and found the rooms a bit small. PB much larger and seemed brighter.

We overlooked the quiet pool round the back. It’s worth it if you make use of it. Grab a breakfast and coffee on a morning and stock up on cans and bottles of water and snacks. We used to call in on our way back from the parks and if we had a hotel/pool night we would grabs some stuff to take tound the pool I’d also grab a couple of bottles from the bar. If the main rooms busy there’s another room down the stairs which was quiet at breakfast time. I think we got our monies worth last time.

We have done club level at PB twice & thought it was really good.

They have hot breakfast items & you can make a light meal out of the evening offerings. They also serve the wine & beers up to 8pm.

The rooms we had overlooked the quieter pool the first time & the main pool the second time.

I guess it depends on how much extra it costs. We love Club but for our April holiday next year it nearly £100 extra per night.

The “extra” can vary quite a lot, sometimes it can be £20 and other times £100. So the answer is, it depends.
