Admin - My password leaked..?

I've had a blackmail email today asking for $2900 so they dont release a personal video of me

Obviously all false but it quoted part of my email and my password that I previously used on the Dibb.

I wanted to make Admin aware in case there'd been a data breach - I'm sure it's not from you lovely people as I've used the password elsewhere ! Whoops!

I've now changed all my password but thought it safest to flag to you guys

We don�t actually store your plain text password so if someone has gained your password then it will have probably come from an unsecured connection that you have used or your computer has picked up some malware.
I would suggest you scan your system with a good malware scanner just to be on the safe side.

that's word for word the email I received.

DH is checking everything now for malware while I'm changing passwords.

It�s quite scary, there�s some vulnerable people out there that would actually believe that. We had a fraud talk a while back at work and it really opened my eyes to how easy it is to access our private information online, scary when most of our lives are online nowadays!

Worth checking this website by entering any emails you use, it will tell you if your accounts have been compromised by data breaches in the past.
