Mobility scooter in Vegas

Has anyone rented one? Are you allowed to go through the casinos in them, on the strip paved area etc.
I'm off with my Mum in seven weeks and her knee has been troubling her. She rang me this morning to say she went out to walk just a few yards to a friend's and her knee was in agony and she almost got stuck! Had to get a lift back home

Can't help with the rental, but have seen scooters commonly in casinos and on the strip, same as anywhere else. The Strip can be quite crowded though so bear that in mind.

Thanks. Mum went to the doctors today and he said it's a flare up of arthritis. She did have it x-rayed a year ago and was told wear and tear.
I thought she'd hate the idea of a scooter but she mentioned it herself before! We are in Vegas Monday to Thursday end of September , so hopefully not as crowded on the strip as weekends. I've been before so know how huge the hotels etc are

We saw a lot of people on scooters when we were there last month. The casinos even have wheelchair accessible game tables so people with mobility or disabilities don't miss out.
