IPOD can I use bluetooth head phones

Hi I've just found a really old apple ipod can I use cordless headphones with it via blue tooth , ?

I’m fairly certain old iPods don’t have Bluetooth. If they have Bluetooth then yes you can!

While a wireless headset can be connected to an iPod, it's compatible only with the iPod Touch model. To use the headset with your iPod Touch, access the Settings app and enable the Bluetooth function. After you enable Bluetooth on the device you can pair it with your preferred wireless headset.

Thankyou I haven't looked yet as it needs charging and as its that old I have no recent charger for it so just ordered one

Is is actually an iPod Touch? If not then no.

If it's one of the later versions of the iPod Touch or the last version of the iPod Nano then it should have Bluetooth and therefore you should be able to connect the headphones to it.

If it's a Classic iPod or iPod Shuffle or an early version of the iPod Nano, then it won't be able to connect because these didn't have Bluetooth.
