Annoyed-Avios price increase for KSC

So annoyed with myself ,
Was looking at our Avios last week,combined our accounts and looked at what we had enough for.
We decided on KSC only needed to pay Ł25 towards the 5 tickets we need.
Wanted to book fastpasses first before deciding on what day to go.
Went to book last night and BA has put Avios price up and now going to cost us Ł55 for the tickets, what a big jump in price 😣
Don't know if we should just save Avios for next year now 😡

When you say will cost Ł55 for the tickets, do you mean for each ticket ?

We used Avios for our KSC tickets - we went Monday. To be honest, it was a bit of a faff when we got there. You have to go to Will Call, who then contact Dolphin Tours who provide the tickets on behalf of BA, and then you have to wait for them to come to you. They said I should have had an e-ticket, but just had the voucher to print out.

The queue to get into KSC was massive - so I sent DH and the kids into the line - by the time i’d got the tickets they were almost at the front.

Also, with BA you have to select a specific date to go.

Save your Avios for other things its too much of a faf what your trying to do

It's Ł55 for 5 tickets including our Avios points. It was only Ł25 last week.

Didn't realise it was such a nightmare to get in this way. I was just going to print tickets off at home,do I still need to hang around ?
