Top tips

We're staying offsite two weeks next year. There's two of us and neither are fussy or have dietary requirements. The sheer scale of choice is quite daunting as we're looking for 4 or 5 TS meals at Disney / Universal City Walk with the rest of the evenings eating offsite.

Our only definite for now is Morimoto after a great meal there this year. I also fancy trying O'Hanas. Any tips on which other on-site restaurants we should consider? Also are there any which definitely don't live up to the hype?

To be honest, most don't live up to the hype. With two kids after many trips we've decided to mainly stick to quick serve. We enjoyed it much more this year, not having to be at X place at X time. The Landry's card is definitely worth it for quick seating and discounts at Yak and Yeti and Rainforest, both of which we found surprisingly good. It would also work at Bubba Gump at Universal. i did have ADRs for Saana and Via Napoli but I cancelled those this year as well as Be Our Guest Lunch (even switched park that day). Excellent quick serve are quite a few of the Epcot ones (Mexico, Japan, Morocco, Sunshine Seasons, fish and chips ), Columbia Harbour House at MK, the Pandora Canteen and Flame Tree BBQ. I spent a lot less as well.

Toothsome, NBC & Cowfish at Universal are all great & worth a try in my opinion.

Toothsome is more than just grand desserts (the Chicken Bourguignon Is excellent).

NBC is way more than a Sports bar. The food is very good & the steak with borderlaise sauce is awesome.

Cowfish burgers are super fun and really delicious.

Much better choices than Hard Rock Cafe or Bubba Gumps and the usual in my opinion.

Not been myself but seen a LOT of Youtube videos for Toothsome and every single vlogger was raving about how good the food was!
Looking forward to trying it this year!
