FP 60 days query
I'm a bit unclear about the 60-day/30-day FP booking thingy which I thought I understood
If you are staying at Disney you can book at 60 days out. That bit I get. Is that just for FPs on the first day of your stay or for the length of your stay (i.e. if you are staying for 10 days you can actually book the 10th day at 70 days out)? Secondly, how does it work if you are doing a week onsite followed by a week offsite? Can you book your FPs early for the days that you are not staying onsite? Thanks

If you are staying at a Disney hotel, you can book FPs for the first 14 days at the 60 day mark. Anything longer you can book day by day after that.
I booked 14 days FPs at 60 days before (eg all on the same day). For on-site/off-site bookings I'm not sure, sorry.

Thanks Gezzs
That's one of the questions answered anyway. Cheers

You will be able to book for the length of your onsite stay 60 days out from day 1, then you will be able to book every off-site day at 60 days out from that day (i.e. a day at a time)

Just to clarify - you cannot book for more than 14 days at 60 days out, despite the Disney site saying "entire length of your stay". I know as we are onsite for 21 days and have 21 day tickets. We could book 14 days FPs, then had to book each extra day one at a time.
Email from Disney (when I asked): "Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort! When you are within 60 days of arrival, you can do up to 14 days FastPass®+ selections on that day. For the remaining days, you can choose one day at a time. This is due to our FastPass®+ inventory loading only 14 days in advance. For example, if you can make FastPass®+ beginning July 1st, you will be able to make the FastPass®+ selections for the first 14 days of your trip. The next day, you can do one more day - and so on, and so on - until you have filled your entire vacation schedule"

It's for the length of your stay or 14 days, whichever is shorter. You can book all of your length of stay (up to 14 days) on the same day. So, as you say, if you are staying for 10 days you can book your 10th day at 70 days out. You won't be able to book the 11th day at 71 days out because you won't be onsite.
Yes. You will be able to book the entire of your first week at 60 days before your check-in day. However, for the days you are offsite, you can book 60 days before each day one day at a time. Only if you are staying at a Disney hotel for 14 days or more. If you are staying for less than 14 days then you can only book your length of stay at 60 days before check-in.

Thanks everyone.
So, if I am staying 7 nights onsite followed by 7 nights offsite I can book days 1-8 at 60 days from my check in date (so, up to 68 days early) and then each day from day 9 at 60 days from that particular day - one day at a time. Thanks for that, most informative

Yes.
The thing some people forget is that after they have booked their 8 days worth of fastpasses at 60 days before check-in, they then have to wait another 8 days before they can book day 9.
