Just starting to get things ready for packing and wondered if anyone had anymore advice?

We’ve got skycots booked each way and have calpol! I’m breastfeeding so ok on the milk front but have just started weaving so will need to take some pouches or similar with us!

We took our baby just before 7 months and had started weaning. I’ll be very honest here... as a first time Mum I was so obsessed about keeping up with the weaning that it kinda took over my life a bit. I was stressing that if I stopped doing it he wouldn’t take it again so made sure that we were back at our hotel for lunch, dinner etc to ensure I could try the weaning. Looking back now I wish I hadn’t bothered and just gave him extra milk. 2 weeks makes no difference in reality.

Take your sling for orlando immigration but ask for Uk passport control, our line at Gatwick was over an hour!

If you are taking pouches for weaning don’t take any meat products. It’s so unclear whether they are allowed or now, plus it’s easy to avoid meat at that age so make life easy for yourself.

Get a clip on buggy fan and if your buggy is black (ours is) take a handtowel from your hotel or home for them to lay on as black draws In the heat.
