Think my fiancé is fed up...
Hi everyone!
I’m getting married to my lovely OH next November (02/11/2019)! He proposed in feb 2017 at WDW and we are off again this year in November. We keep discussing where to go on our honeymoon... if you google where is hot in December... Orlando comes up! However OH doesn’t want to go again! Especially on our honemoon! I can understand where he is coming from as he didn’t really holiday as a child... he got the joys of Cornwall and the New Forest. But I was a lucky child and we were fortunate to go on lots of all inclusive holidays to various locations across Europe! As such the idea of sitting by a pool bores me. I’ve done it too many times and I like to go and do new things on holiday! Whether that be a new theme park or restaurant or seeing various landmarks. So I think he has got a little tired of me suggesting Orlando for our honeymoon! Has anyone got any suggestions of warm holidays that aren’t the standard sit around the pool and vegetate holidays?!

December - Southern hemisphere, so...
Oz - huge amounts to see and do, as action-y as you like. South Africa - safaris, wine routes, Table Mountain etc Kenya et al - safaris Far East - perm any of Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan - loads to see, do and you could always get a Disney fix in. South America - Brazil, Argentina and more besides. New Zealand - loads of action stuff to do, possibly the outdoors capital of the world. |

Yes! I love cruising! Ive only done the baltic with P&O but it was insane! Love the fact you can see so many places in a short amount of time!
OH not overly fussed by it, we have only done a short 2 night cruise together and he didn't enjoy the dressing up part & there was a lot of kids! We have considered a 7 night caribbean cruise as there is one going just after the wedding, however OH isn't keen if there is going to be lots of kids. Have said its not school holidays but he won't listen!

Thank you for the suggestions but most of these are all out of our budget! Plus OH is terrified of spiders which means most of the above are also off limits! I had a hard enough time trying to convince him that the spiders weren't that bad in FL...

Weather is not guaranteed to be beach weather in Florida in December.
Was minus 2 in Epcot Boxing Day when we went December 2010 Anyway, give me Cornwall over a fortnight in an all- inclusive in Europe any day . Then you might find why sitting by a pool bores you so much. I would suggest he was the lucky one and you the one that didn't really holiday much I think it depends how adventurous you want to be and what your budget stretches to though as to where is feasible in December
