Universal Hotel - Express Pass Pickup

Hi All

Quick question about the process of staying in a universal hotel and picking up our free express passes.

As on our previous trip we are staying one night in the hard rock hotel and plan to check in early on the check in day, drop our bags, pick up our express passes and head to the parks. One slight difference to last time however is that we have vouchers for our universal tickets rather than the real tickets in hand. I can't remember when we did this last time if we needed the real tickets to be able to pick up our express passes on check in ( not sure if they are linked in some way maybe ?).

So the question is, can we collect our express passes without first changing our universal vouchers for real tickets (I'm hoping so !).

Your room key is your express pass now so all you need to do is check-in and head to the parks

No need to show your park tickets at all when you check in. Your room card which will be given to you at check in also works as your express pass.
