Renting DVC Points/David's Vacation Club Rentals

I have just come across David's Vacation Club Rentals. I seem to be able to get three nights in a value studio in Jambo House at Animal Kingdom for $476 which seems very good value.

A couple of qs:

1) Has anyone used David's Vacation Club Rentals before?

2) What would a value studio in Jambo House be like? It says no guaranteed view - any ideas of what the 'normal' view would be?

There would only be two of us but it states the room fits 4 - I presume there will just be two double beds as usual!

Thanks

They do have a double bed and a sofa bed. This is true of most dvc studios (Okw is the exception )
The view could be anything. Car park. Pool. Partial savannah. Roof top.

We’ve always been lucky in Jambi house but we had a very definite car park view in Kidani. Higher floors will always be better as you can look out over the carpark.

We are dvc members and book these rooms every year. So far we have had a pool view twice and the rest were Savannah views. Never had car park thank goodness. They will be on fifth floor In Jambo and I believe they are all at the front of the hotel. Slightly smaller than the other studios. Really good value and studios book up really quickly.

We have used David's rentals a couple of times when we have been short on points. Very professional and easy.
I am not sure if you look on the David's site they show you what is available only the cost of the different accommodation.
Could be completely wrong though as we knew what was available before requesting dates from David' so didn't really look at the site.

David's have a stellar reputation in the DVC community. You will have no problems using them whatsoever.

David’s does just show the price as licoricelover says above these rooms go very quick so you need to be planning well ahead of the 11 month window to book an Ak value room.

We used David’s for our stay at BLT this year. Very easy to deal with, and they even gave us suggestions on which room requests to put in. We’re looking to use them again next year.

From putting in a request with deposit, they’d secured us 2 nights in a studio and we paid the balance and it was showing in MDE within 24 hours.

This all sounds great, thanks guys.

We are looking at late Sept 2019 so if we decide on this soon, should hopefully secure one!

Thanks for all your help and recommendations
