Lufthansa connecting flights

I travelled in Feb this year and needed to do the additional security check then.

For me, it's a tricky one to call if you get a close-ish gate and the security check is not needed, then the 1'50 layover is fine. I guess my point was that I was literally at the opposite end of the airport to Z, had to do the second security check and arrived late - the perfect storm!

I ended up having to run across the entire airport to make my connection, something I would avoid having to do again!

Hi. I flew LHR to JFK via FRA in 2016 with Lufthansa. Lay over was less than 2 hours and we had no problems. There is a dedicated lane for connections to the US and we were off the plane and awaiting the next within 30 mins.
