My daughter in law had her hen do in Budapest. They all loved it and there was plenty to do. She is looking to go back next year as a short family holiday break.

We stayed in an apartment in Mlini - fab apartment, great views - only downside was the steps from the main road and the slope from the village to get to it. If I was driving would definiteley stay there again. Mlini village was very nice and fairly quiet though had everything you needed- buses and water taxis to Dubrovnik leave regularly
Cavtat was pretty too - regular buses/boats to Dubrovnik too

Great thread, my girl friends and I have done a couple, we did a riad in Marrakesh which was cool and we also did a Forest Holidays cabin with a hot tub in Forest of Dean this year, hired a canoe to go down the Wye, very pretty.

I’m off to Palma de Mallorca with 3 friends in just over a week’s time. It’s a beautiful city and just a short flight with a short transfer when your u get there.
