8 weeks out prices

Hi folks I've seen a price on virgin for flights and cabana bay.Its Ł3000 for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 16&14,for 2 weeks flying from Manchester 8th October.Its 8 weeks out,Just wondering if anyone has experience with booking with virgin this near.Im wondering if prices are likely to go down.we aren't doing Disney so don't need to worry about booking stuff.

I’ve booked for 16th Oct (did it about 3 weeks ago) - I’ve checked every day since and the price has gone up then come down to what I booked for, it’s fluctuated loads but not gone any cheaper. I think if you’re happy then book it, I do check last minute deals all the time and I find the nearer it gets, the dearer it gets. Check Thomson and Thomas Cook as well. I think that’s a good price, TUI depart on 8th and have prices starting at 634 each for that date but it’s an International Drive hotel x

Just done a quick check and it would cost Ł1493 to stay at Cabana Bay for your dates,so you are paying Ł1507 for flights (Ł376 each). I think that's a bargain. Go for it.

Booked it tonight,well 3 times to be precise,the virgin site kept rejecting my card but u ended up with 3 invoices
