Front row seats and TV screens

We fly tomorrow (yay! ). We have exit row seats on a Virgin airbus from Gatwick. Can anyone tell me please whether we will be able to watch the entertainment during take off and landing, or do our screens have to be stowed in the arm rests until the seat belt light goes off?

Most flights I've been on, the IFE is not enabled during take-off and landing anywhere on the plane.

Virgin used to be like that, but when we flew 2 years ago I’m sure it had changed so that you could watch it almost straight away?

I thought that if seated in exit row seats tv's had to be stowed during take off and landing. All other passengers are able to watch the ife.

We flew in exit seats in January and we had to put the screens away during take off and landing. I think the rest of the plane could still use their IFE.

If your screen is in the arm rest, rather than on the back of the seat in front, it will need to be stowed for take off and landing, although you can still listen to audio.

Ah ok, thank you. I thought that was probably how it was going to be. I’ll just have to make sure I finish watching the last film nice and early😀
