OOPS!i Need Help with Ticket mistake

Well some good news at last!

I spoke to an amazing CM on Christmas Eve. She was so lovely and pulled out all the stops for me, trying to get me sorted. She even spoke to Disney USA & they released the same room under the same terms 2 days earlier. They were out of availability for our room type at all resorts except POR but that was an extra €700!

BUT she managed to get my original offer at the same resort as above, ie 2 days earlier.

I know its not the 4 days earlier I wanted but I now have 2 days booked at OKW and will 'chill' and visit disney springs for the 2 days BEFORE I get my tix.
I've also got a waitlist for my DVC for the same 2 days, so will see what transpires.

Much happier now AND AFTER I get my tix and stayed at CSR, i've also booked the POLY for 2 extra days. Something I've always wanted to do.

I saw online that the first litigation on Ap's has been filed against Disneyland so as before there appears to be a smidgen of truth in the rumours!

The general belief here is that Annual Pass sales were suspended because of lack of availability of park reservations over the extremely busy Christmas period.

Shooby doo and Donna D, it sounds like both reasons are true.
We are going in July, which is classed as 'low season' when you look at the pass calendar.
I'm hoping that new AP's (at least for DVC owners) will be available n July so that I can upgrade.

If not, I've resigned myself to the fact I may need to buy a baseline per day ticket with no hopper for the remaining 2 weeks.

I'm currently checking all offers on 14 day ults to see if its cheaper buying 2 more of these.

ps, when upgrading I was told to visit 1 park first to lock in the price. I've been doing this in the past but I recently read somewhere on the moms panel that you've NOT TO USE the tix now before upgrading?

Donna I think that's the crux of the litigation as I understand it- they have bought the "Top Tier" with no blackout dates but can't get in ! Now Disney are well known for settling before any negative publicity so it's maybe "chancers" but it does seem crazy that they'll pulled them only weeks after selling again !
Who knows maybe Bob has been counting his beans again

I don’t know what the official line is re upgrading but we did ours at Disney Springs the evening we arrived and before we set foot in any of the parks.

Yes a very good price I thought. We got 2 Sorcerers which are $899 plus tax each. I paid $568.72 for the 2, so when you work it out I got $666 for a ticket which cost me £399 back in December 2019. That was the 11th November we did it, not to long before they stopped selling them again. Good timing👍
