DH made his lovely turkey curry on Boxing Day with the leftover turkey and roasties. We have been using the ham in sandwiches and toasties. STILL haven’t had any Christmas pud though.

We have made curry and turkey & ham pie filling for the freezer plus have frozen enough slices for 3 in gravy for a lazy roast at some point.
Obviously had the obligatory sandwich too and the veg, dates, sausages etc have been made into bubble and squeak patties for the freezer. I’ve used the bread sauce to bind them so they’ll be lovely and Christmassy Edited at 07:03 PM. |

Last minute my sister, partner and nephew decided they were having Christmas dinner at my mums with us. She cooked a turkey crown, leg of lamb and a glazed ham but it wasn’t quite enough 😂😂 every scrap was eaten in one sitting. We never seem to have any left overs, we are such a greedy bunch 🙈

Like Trusty Ian we had Christmas Dinner three days running and enjoyed it all. We also had a few sandwich lunches out of the meats too (Turkey, pork, gammon). There were twelve of us for Christmas Day and as usual we made way too much for one dinner. The leftovers were lovely though.

We've still got half our turkey in the freezer for a curry or pilaf
