Away from the parks

Hi
So each holiday we like to do something different any suggestions welcome.
So far we have done :-
All the usual parks incl. Disc cove, gatorland, US, all disney. SW , kennedy space center Etc
Been down to fort lauderdale, blue springs, clear water & everglades. Don’t mind if its a drive out……………

Scenic lake ride at Winter Park, similar thing at Mount Dora, Harry Leu Gardens, Bok Tower, Anna Maria Island

Wild Florida was a great day out for us. Booked an early morning airboat followed by a sloth encounter and rest of the time wandering round the little zoo eating ice cream.

Most remembered "off grid" trip of any of our Florida/disney/universal stays.

Swim with the manatees - a mind blowing day out. Something I will never forget. Buy a disposable underwater camera (or risk one of those sealed bag things for your mobile) and spend a few hours bobbing around with the manatee. Brilliant. They are up on the west coast north of Orlando so it’s a bit of a drive but definitely worth it.
