I was also going to recommend Adam Hatton, he has just posted a series in a recent trip. DFB and AllEars have also got some good explainers for genie+. I like watching the weekly DFB news videos. We last did WDW in 2018. Getting to Disney from the airport is the one I’ve not figured out yet, really sad about the DME going!

Another vote here for just browsing DisneyFoodBlog’s back video catalogue. Quite a few “what’s changed” videos there and I generally find AJ to be the least annoying vlogger.

No they stopped offering the Magical Express a couple of years ago. We just got an Uber on our last trip but a lot of people now use Mears Connect or the Sunshine Flyer.

I’m in a similar boat having last gone in 2018. In fact I was there on Easter then.
I’m also trying to work out what I need to do to maximise our trip. I’ve been in the Dibb whilst people have been talking about genie+ and park reservations etc but I haven’t fully read or understood, so I need to look into all of that.

2018 was our last trip (sans kid) and I would have considered myself an expert. I don’t have a clue now 😂

Its really not that different apart from Genie plus replacing free fast pass and having to reserve a park day.When you are actually in the parks they feel the same!

When you say "having to reserve a park day " does that mean you can't just turn up at a park and buy a ticket at the gate?

Its not that easy anymore,they leave a few reservations for walk ups I think however normally you have to reserve the park you want to visit on the mde app! Magic kingdom and hollywood studios can sell out about a month in advance!

I totally understand!

Not been since 2017 and now we’ve booked I’m actually dreading the who genue+ thing and starting to question if we’ve done the right thing.

What with no feee dining, costs have already gone up, no magical express and the thought of having to pay for going on rides that were free before is making me worry about whether we are just going to be having a holiday stick on the phone all the time.

I feel really in organised with the lack of planning so far… 😞
