Thinking of upgrading or return to upper class at £676 pp, time I factor in the extra bag and the extra weight allowance per bag up to 32kg per bag it makes it a bit more bearable we paid £1450 for our PE seats there and back, do i buy or do i wait

For me I would rather have 2 trips a year in economy than 1 in upper so it would be a no for me, but if I could afford it it would be 2 in upper😀

Personally I wouldn't pay that to go from PE to UC. Your base fare is higher and that's more of an Economy to UC price. But prices are generally through the roof at the moment so I've probably lost touch.

Having just done that route upper both ways on the 787 I would say it’s not worth it. Plane quite old and worn, found the beds to be so uncomfortable. Upper was packed and hardly anyone in economy or premium which was surprising. Save your money and spend on the holiday 😃

Depending on whether you’re flying at a busy time of year, it might be worth taking your chances at the airport. If seats are available you’re likely to get a much better price than the one you’re being quoted right now.

We’ve had upgrade prices at the airport ranging from £200 to just under £400 ppn.
