Here goes
BA 205 - scheduled to be operated by a 777 (Club World) 3 class 4 cabin aircraft Club - 21 seats unoccupied with 3 blocked WTP - 20 seats unoccupied with 2 blocked WT - Wide Open BA appear to be be allocating 4 cabin aircraft as they work through refurbishment of existing 777's to Club Suites. I have noticed that some flights over the next couple of months have been changed to Club Suite ones after being 4 class but there isn't a general pattern. The 4 cabin aircraft do have less Economy seats compared to the A350 or other 777's and it is a case of watch and wait. I always advise keeping a careful eye on your booking theough Manage My Booking and check you emails. As always I advise that aircraft substituions can happen at any time up to the day of departure. BA 204 - scheduled to be operated by a Club - 19 seats unoccupied with 2 blocked WTP - 15 seats unoccupied with 2 blocked WT - Wide Open The comment above about the 4 cabin aircraft also applies to this return flight at this stage - again keep an eye on your booking through MMB and watch for any emails advising of changes of seats etc. Happy to check for you again nearer the time - it really isn't a problem. Hope it works out for you. |

Hi SC,
Thought I would update you on our experience flying EDI-LHR-MCO and return earlier this month. Our first flight on the 3rd was supposed to be full but after Hogmanay being cancelled plenty of room. BA0205 LHR-MCO only about half full on 3rd January. BA0204 MCO-LHR 17th January only about 60% full Flight to Edinburgh also had plenty of room. As only DW and I there was no one next to us on any of the legs. The 777 had 110 above the cockpit and think was used on both legs. It was in an excellent condition etc. Looking forward to next flight on May. Thanks for all your updates.

That would be G-V(IIO) rather than 110 that did run the the route those days. Famous for being the Las Vegas BA plane that aborted take-off a few years ago for an engine fire Flown on it a few times since and non the worse for wear, perfectly safe and as you say excellent condition .
