Ooh Kentucky Mule is one of my faves although I could say that about a lot of cocktails 😉

We are having hot buttered rum. It's like a mulled cider. I mash the butter with muscovado sugar and spices, put a teaspoon of this in the glass along with a shot of rum and top with warmed cider.

Mocha Martini - Amarula, Vanilla Vodka and Kahlua (I just guessed the measurements) I used chocolate syrup inside the glass and hot chocolate powder for the rim of the glass.

This was delicious and would be a perfect dessert cocktail.

Old Fashioned for Adam
Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Angostura Bitters, Sugar Cube and water, garnished with dried orange.

This is one of his favourite drinks.

We're drinking mulled wine cocktails tonight.

Put 100g of muscovado sugar, 150ml water and 4 cloves in a saucepan. Bring to the boil then cool in a jug. Add 150ml cointreau and chill in the fridge all afternoon.

When ready to serve our the sugar syrup, cointreau mix in a jug with a bottle of red wine that has been chilled. Serve with a slice of Clementine and lemon.

Tonight I went for an Australian Christmas cocktail. Pineapple and passion fruit fizz. Fruity and refreshing.

Brett enjoyed a few Xmas style Dark and Stormys with a bottle of Flor De Cana rum we were sent to try. If you like a sweet rum then this is definitely one to try hope you all had a lovely Xmas
