Points transfer - a mini rant

I want to transfer points onto my mums contract. I thought it would be simple - ring membership services give them both membership ids and then done but just spent 30 mins in a phone queue for them to tell me that I need my mum there with me to authorise the transfer

I don’t understand why if I’m the one transferring points to her? If I transfer money into her bank account I don’t need her authorisation to do it - it seems bizarre that we both have to waste more time doing a three way call

Is that a new policy? I’ve had points transferred to me in the past by a dibb member and she sorted it all!

I don’t know - I’ve never done a points transfer before 🤷 - I couldn’t find anything on the dvc website. I’m just extremely frustrated that I wasted 1/2 hour in a phone queue.

I’ve done transfer before and never needed to do this.

Check on chat if they have changed their policy?

I recently did the same thing and had to phone up with my Mum so they could speak to both of us, annoying i know!
