Contacting Disney in 2022
What is the best way to get hold of Disney for minor questions and requests/changes to tickets etc? I called them recently and was on the phone for nearly 2 hours and dont want to do that just for minor queries.
Previously I contacted them on Twitter and used to get rapid and helpful responses, but now it seems that the two accounts ive previously used are no longer active as I havent had responses for 3 weeks (@WDWToday and @WDWGuestservice). im guessing theyre not shut down and its staffing issues, but im having no trouble getting hold of any other company via Twitter etc? Anyone else having trouble just getting hold of anyone for small questions and changes? |

What is your query? If it's not directly related to your booking, there's a good chance someone here knows the answer anyway.
If you need to amend your tickets though, that needs to go through whoever you booked through. |

Its just little specific queries related to our booking. For instance our tickets have been assigned to the wrong people on our MDE account, child tickets assigned to over 18s and vice versa. Also, we cant seem to find where to add Genie+ to our booking. We also have questions about room requests and adding an infant to our booking.

You can't add Genie+ automatically, you will need to ask them to add it. And the room requests will need to go through them as well.
In terms of the tickets being incorrectly assigned, that may need to go through to Disney IT rather than WDTC. I think it's a separate option when you phone that diverts to the IT desk instead of customer service. |

I phoned Walt Disney travel company at 9 this morning and was quoted a 167 minute wait, or I could leave a number for call back which I did, I just had to leave the 0 off the start of phone number. They called me back at 11 and I got everything sorted. Hope you manage to get sorted too.

Thanks, was just hoping to avoid being on the phone for 2 hours like last time. They used to be great at replying on Twitter and doing all these things without the need to call, but now they just dont seem to reply at all.

I've found the Chat with US option on the MDE app useful in the past to correct ticket assignment issues.
