Fast Track Security?
First time flying from Manchester T2. Is it worth paying for Fast Track Security? We are travelling early on a Saturday morning from Manchester. Have looked on their website and the only option was Adults but we will be travelling with children.

I honestly think all this fast track stuff is a waste of time it's just to make people feel superior! Get to the airport in plenty of time and you will be fine. Fast track may save you 10 mins, sometimes it saves nothing and sometimes it takes longer.
We have BA status and FT is included but I have never found it any real benefit. |

I paid for fast track at Bristol one morning as the standard queue was over an hour!

We always pay for it at Gatwick ahead of time ‘just in case’ (usually as part of parking as you get a little discount or fully included, depending on the parking package) — even though most times the standard queue hasn’t been that busy in the morning when we go through so it usually has made no material difference for us.

When we did it, it was so crowded the normal line was going faster than Fast Track! We were glad we had never actually had to pay for it!

For the low cost of it, we did it and the queue was quarter of the length. I think worth it.

We had fast track security and I was through in minutes. My husband had left his iPad in his backpack and had to stand 20 minutes until it was his turn to have his bag checked making the whole thing a waste of time

Was certainly worth it (as part of a Club booking) at Edinburgh. We were the only people there!
