When you board you could ask if they would swap seats with you, that way you wouldn't need to keep disturbing them.

Can you not just change the seats to an aisle and a middle if you're worried about having to go to the loo? I always book the aisle for me because of this reason.

I agree, book the aisle seat if you know you’ll need to get up frequently, are there any seats left you could change to?

The only issue I have is with Jen she is a VERY nervous flyer and has to be by a window shes done nervous flyer courses and she has to be staring out the window and holding my hand.

But I have crones and if I eat normally I'm on toilet every 5 to 10 mins

What about an exit row so you can get up freely?

To be honest, the seat next to you can appear empty until you get on the flight and someone sits there. This has happened to us many times.

Are there any pairs of seats at the back you could swap to? That way your partner gets the window and you get the aisle.
