Package with thomson

In the last few weeks I've been looking at package holidays with Thomson for september 2018, they have already gone up in price in just two weeks! Will they continue to rise? And will I get the same rate if I go into the travel agents as I'm getting quoted on there Internet site?

I noticed the prices for next year have increased quite a lot in the past few weeks too.

When we booked our 2015 holiday the agent in the Thomson shop price matched the Thomson website but had to speak with her manager first because it was quite a big difference (£920!). I'm not sure if they would still price match but it's worth printing out the price you have and taking it into the shop and seeing what they can do.

I booked with Thomson this year in late December for this August and he price matched the on line price as a difference of £420. I started to walk away and he said he would match it straight away, no hassle at all.

Are the prices on the web site likely to go down at all, even on the Internet site they seem a little high seeing as it's over a year away! And the accomodation I'm interested in is saying it only has a few rooms left! Do I risk waiting for price to go down but then possibly risk losing the accomodation I want?

Thomson were pricey for me when i booked so i went else where.
