Virgin hand baggage

I see I can take a cabin bag and a personal bag - will I get away with a cabin bag size case and a medium Kipling backpack - as long as combined they are no more than 10kg?

I think so. Last year i got away with two large backpacks as hand luggage. I was in premium though, i dont know if that makes a difference.
You're best off popping into a store or asking them over their online chat just to be sure.

What you're taking sounds perfectly acceptable! I wouldn't worry if I were you, we've just flown with Virgin a few weeks ago and they never bothered to weigh our hand baggage. I think it's just your cabin case that should ideally weigh no more than 10kg, your personal item doesn't count towards the weight allowance.

Yes, you'll be abbsolutely fine with those. The cabin bag can be 10kg alone

This is great news!

We are already planning on taking 2 cases each (10 nights Disney, 7 night cruise and we like to shop) but it giv s me the extra room on the way back if I decide to fill my case with sweeties and (hopefully) some nice Autumn and Christmas decorations from Cracker Barrel!
