Following this thread. After 27 years of living a 20 minute taxi ride to Heathrow and so never needing hotels, we will now be moving to Wales so will need an overnight stay before our flight to Tokyo in November.

I'm assuming that the coach goes to Heathriw Central, that's between T2 and T3.

The layout of Heathrow means that T2 and 3 are in the middle of the two runways, so the only waybin/out is through a tunnel. I think a new hotel recently opened nearby but not sure on that one.

Lots of hotels along the Bath Road to choose from (think Premier Inn, Sheraton, Marriott etc.) You'll need to get a taxi or bus (normal public buses are free within Heathrow) from there to T3.

There is also a Premier Inn linked by footbridge to T4 and you can use the underground to connect to T3 for free.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn T2 and T3 this year. Not the cheapest option but very handy as about 5-10 mins walk from the tube and then the terminal and it was a nice, new hotel. Alternatively if you don’t mind a bus or quick taxi journey there’s plenty on bath road, we stayed at the premier inn bath road, only about a 10 minute taxi ride.

There are now 2 hotels within walking distance of T2 and T3. As mentioned above the Hilton Garden Inn as well as the newly opened Aerotel.

We have stayed at the Premier Inn onsite at Heathrow. You walk down a tunnel in to T4 and then you can catch the Heathrow Express for free to the other terminals.

We fly to New York on New years day we have meet and greet at terminal 3 to drop off car then we are getting the bus to the Premier Inn Bath Road for the night. We will get the bus back to terminal 3 in the morning. Paid £30 for the room at the Premier Inn.

Where do you get the bus to go to Bath Road from?

We stayed at premier inn T4 and used the free train to get to the other terminal. It worked well and was very inexpensive.
