I’m taking some Morrison’s stain wipes👍(I can guarantee I’ll spill something during the flight) they only cost £1 in the aisle next to the laundry powders and capsules and the bin bags. I’m also contemplating getting some of those face cleansing masks for the flight home just to feel less gritty before our long journey back up north from London.

This has just reminded me that my friend always takes her bikini and her bras in her hand luggage! She got enormous boobs, and has very expensive large cup (small back) bras. She says she can always go any buy clothes if her luggage doesn’t turn up, but she would never get bras off the peg so she likes to keep them close at hand!

We take cot pillows from Dunelm, I can't stand anything too tight on my neck .
They go in vac bags inside our carry on and on the way back I just tuck them into the handle of my cabin case.
I don't use the airline allows except for putting down by my side to make the seat more comfortable

Thanks Snowbelle! I'll have a look at them

As others have said, we always take a spare set of clothes in hand luggage. Luckily my suitcase has never gone astray but before I met my DH his suitcase went astray on 2 different trips - it's also handy as we change into our shorts as soon as we get through customs (we find it quite chilly on the plane sometimes and then of course boiling when you arrive in Orlando!) so it saves us digging around in our suitcases in the middle of a busy airport.

I love the suggestion of scratch cards every hour!

Plane earplugs! If anyone struggles with ear problems on the plane then I absolutely recommend these. We got them from Boots. They are amazing! I've struggled with my ears on planes for years, they would "pop" on take off and landing and I wouldn't be able to un pop them properly for a long time and it would be v painful. Well I bought these a couple of years ago and they're great. I wear them during take off for about half an hour and then during landing, again for about half an hour, and they only pop the tiniest bit and then sort themselves out quickly once the earplugs are out!

I am the same, my ear specialist recommended Otrivine Nasal spray about 1/2 hr before landing.

Never looked back
