Early October 2020 Flights

Anyone else waiting on early October Flights from a northern Airport.

We have 14 nights booked from Saturday the 3rd of October, but haven't seen prices go below about Ł800ea direct from Manchester via Virgin.

The dates are outside half term - so not really sure what's going on.

Have looked at Gatwick - but the drive home would be a killer.

Have considered flying from Gatwick and back to Manchester, but even that around Ł3100 for 2 adults 3 kids.

Ha - scrap that.

Just got 2 adults, 3 kids, LGW>MCO direct outbound, MCO>MAN direct return on the dates I wanted, including baggage with Virgin for Ł2161.

Been checking daily since the flights were released in November '19, and only since posting this have I finally found something I'm happy with.

We are going Edi-Phl-Mco for 2a and 2c for Ł1450.

That sounds good - though with 3 kids (9,7,4), direct was the preferred (only) option for us.

The prices have been awful for weeks now We finally managed to book MAN - MCO via Atl for Ł865 in premium economy at silly o'clock one Friday morning.

Well done on getting your flights - see you there !

Did you book direct with virgin?
I was looking last night, we fly out on the 30th September but having the same issue with flights

No - I booked from TravelUp, but have been using ITA to track prices.

Where are you flying from? - Looks those dates from Gatwick for 2 weeks are about Ł520 per adult.

We are leaving 7th Oct lhr-jfk- Mco staying at dockside inn for 2 ad, 3 kids 15 nights flying home Mco-man-Edi for Ł780 pp. now I know Flybe has went bust just waiting on Virgin telling me what the new plans are, which won’t be anytime soon giving the circumstances.
