I've signed too. They've already reduced the hours at Carnegie so to lose another pool would be a real shame. Fife Council seem to be making one bad decision after another just now.

Your council sounds a bit short-sighted, all the publicity about kids needing more exercise and something to keep them “on track” and yet they do this.

You guys are the best thank you. Theres meant to be an article in the courier today (front page) and they interviewed our chair so hopefully more publicity there!

Signed. I’m nowhere near your area but it’s so important to communities all over the country to have leisure facilities. As a pp said, kids are encouraged to get more exercise and then councils take away the opportunity to do just that in a safe environment.
