Is Animal Kingdom wheelchair friendly, and are the attractions generally accessible?

I am not wheel chair bound myself but there certainly seemed to be wheel chair access over all the attractions within all Disney parks when we visited last week. There are tons of people using Mobility Scooters and wheelchairs

Yes it is quite accessible. Many of the rides depend on whether or not you can transfer from the wheelchair to a ride vehicle. Disney is pretty good with providing special ride vehicles for those who can't when possible . My DD really struggles to transfer most days and has stayed in her chair for Safari, the train and Triceritops Spin. All shows and animal trails are 100% accessible.

Na'vi River Ride is the one ride that should have special boats but doesn't.

DM used a wheelchair this year and it was fine.

Very up and downy paths for a manual chair though, I had calves like Popeyes from pushing uphill
