Decided in the end to book a FP for Illuminations on our last night after our meal - we usually just stake out a spot, and I get sent for beers Don't know what the FP viewing area will be like, but I doubt if it'll beat the Illuminations Cruise we did on our last visit (but we've spent far too much already for this trip!).

Wow how did you manage that?! I was on at midday prompt and couldn’t get FOP 😔 going to try everyday and 🤞

Pure fluke I guess - our 60 day mark was on a Sunday, logged-on bang on midday, went straight to our first AK day in the hope of a morning slot, and the only available was in the evening, so we had to shift plans a tad. Because we're there longer than 14 days, the last seven days' FPs were done day by day, and the day our second FoP opportunity came up, again I logged on midday, and again the only slots were late afternoon/evening.
Dread to think what it would be like for folks on 30 days, but that's a benefit of staying on site I guess.
We missed out on Frozen Ever After on our last trip as it was broken down on our FP slot, so don't want a repeat with FoP (and we've got Frozen twice this year, to be sure).
