Need some help Disney, universal, Seaworld in 14 nights
Hi just wondering if anyone has done Disney, universal and Seaworld In 14 nights, we want to go to blizzard beach as well as volcano bay because I’ve heard good things about it, we are stopping onsite at POR and was thinking of Uber for the other parks, has anyone got an itinerary similar to this? Thank you

When we do three weeks, we have a night in a Universal hotel, to take advantage of two days worth of Express Passes (in fact, we're doing two nights this summer) - we justify it to ourselves because we've got a long time there, and can still get more than our fair Disney fix.
With 14 nights, not so sure? You'll have 14-day (Disney) passes, and potentially you're losing four days and having to source either individual or combo tickets for the other parks. SeaWorld is a day's park, and Universal a day per park (US, IoA)... I can't manage more than half a day at a water park (though I understand some folk can!), so you could do something else on your VB day. All down to how much you want the other parks I guess? US/IoA is totally different to Disney, and the Harry Potter stuff, the Hulk, Rip Ride Rockit...don't know if I'd want to miss them! Hope you figure a way to fit it and make the most of it all.

We ran a similar itinerary last Sept, except we also added Busch Garden and Kennedy Space Centre. Now bare in mind we lost 2 days due to a Hurricane and had to alter our plans daily
Planned Itinerary (Pre Hurricane) Day 1 - Magic Kingdom Day 2 - Hollywood Studios + Epcot Day 3 - Blizzard Beach + Animal Kingdom Day 4 - Animal Kingdom Day 5 - Epcot Day 6 - Volcano Bay + Island of Adventure Day 7 - Island of Adventure + Universal Studios Day 8 - Universal Studios + Island of Adventure Day 9 - Rest Day (Free Day) Day 10 - Seaworld Day 11 - Kennedy Space Centre Day 12 - Busch Gardens Day 13 - Free Day (pick our Fav Park to redo) Day 14 - Flight Home Now, along comes Hurricane Irma, and we are told upon arrival the park will be closed for Days 3 + 4 whilst we are there, so here was our actual Itinerary made up on the fly Day 1 - Magic Kingdom + Holywood Studios Day 2 - Animal Kingdom + Epcot Day 3 - Confined to Resort + Hurricane Day 4 - Confined to Resort Day 5 - Volcano Bay + Epcot Day 6 - Universal Island of Adventure + Universal Studios + Citywalk Day 7 - Universal Island of Adventure + Universal Studios + Citywalk Day 8 - Blizzard Beach + Epcot Day 9 - Holywood Studios + Disney Springs (Cirque du Soleil) Day 10 - Seaworld + Disney Springs Day 11 - KSC + Epcot Day 12 - Busch Gardens + Disney Springs Day 13 - Typhoon Lagoon + Animal Kingdom Day 14 - Flight Home We actually found when travelling to Universal, or Seaworld an Uber from Disney All Star resorts cost around $15 each way - but on the return journey we often got an Uber to Disney Springs for $5-7 and then had food, a bit of a shop and then took the free Disney Bus back to the hotel We had the unlimited ATD Pass for Disney, Universal and all the surrounding parks (Busch / Seaworld) for 14days, but the reality is we would have needed 3 weeks to get our moneys worth. If doing it again, I would likely focus more on the Disney parks. Universal was good but we much preferred Disney (except Volcano Bay - its outstanding) Thankfully September was a much queiter time so we basically did all the rides multiple times in the first 4 days at Disney and could pick and choose as we wanted the rest of the holiday. FP+ had to be cancelled, shifted, moved and rebooked at a moments notice, not to mention ADR's being cancelled. But on a certain level we much rather enjoyed the freedom to pick and choose to do, what we wanted when we wanted. Dont forget, you can plan for a perfect holiday, but youll likely never do everything you want. Just remember to enjoy yourself. |
