Miami beach seaweed

Anyone in Miami at the moment , we arrive on 16th for a couple of nights and wondering what condition the beach is in .
Few weeks ago it looked horrible with so much seaweed all along the beach .

We went yesterday and there was still a lot of seaweed along the beach and the sea was quite murky

Out of interest in seaweed only an issue at certain times of the year/dependent upon weather conditions at Miami Beach? Sorry if this is a stupid question! We went in 2016 as the hurricane was approaching and there was so much seaweed! Don't know why but we were expecting it to be a stunning beach - we only ended up in the water for 5 mins lol. Been wondering ever since!

We were in Miami last Aug and beach was beautiful,no seaweed and clear water . Was hoping for the same this year but doesn't look like that will be happening.

The seaweed has been around for weeks with no immediate sign of an end.

We were there 10 days ago and lots of seaweed. You do get used to it though.

You would think that they would clear it every morning to keep beach looking nice .
Are some areas better that others ?
