Argus Car Hire
To those who are in the know. I had an email from cheapflights this morning with this offer through Argus Car Hire. Is this too good to be true? |

I'd say thats got to be a mis price or some other catch. Is any insurance included in that and who's the rental company?

Seen a few quotes like this today on kayak and Skyscanner.
Usually 2 insurance options, first is basic but the 2nd one looks like full insurance but puts the price up quite a bit. The basic one does not have 0 excess so if you have a bump there is quite a bit to pay.

Company is green motion.
Nissan Altima 29/07/19-19/08/19 £58.20 Cdw, theft waiver, basic third party liability, excess $100- $2000 Price jumps to £209.03 with more insurances and zero excess. Still excellent for 3 weeks car hire. Gotta be a catch somewhere. This is through Skyscanner.

Any reputable UK broker (including the one who may have already posted ) will include the full insurances that you need. Basically CDW and $1m SLI are a must and there will be no excesses.
About 99% of Dibbers will take the insurances included. The other 1% decide to take out their own. Have a bump with CDW included ring Alamo or similar and they'll bring to a new car. Have a bump with no CDW then prepare to have a large hold on your CC until blame is resolved. Mick

Is basic TPI just the state minimum of $20k? Heaven forbid that you have an accident which is your fault and the third party ends up in hospital. $20k might just pay for a Band Aid and an overnight stay.

Just was checking dummy bookings. Virgin Atlantic Alamo best for my Oct 2019 planned booking. Thanks, but I’ll stay clear of them.
