Can i Book on the German website?

Hey guys,

I'm sure this will have been answered before and apologies.

I'm from the UK, however the price is cheaper on the German site. Can I just book directly via that site or would that not be valid?

Also I am just looking for 2 nights in December as a surprise for my other half before, I found 2 nights at the Davy Crockett lodge, any reviews or other suggestions for a cheap two nights on site?

Many thanks

You can indeed, I’ve done this for our trip in November as it was a better deal for is.

Your confirmation will be in German but you can use google docs translate to look it over if you want to still.

Just bear in mind the transaction will be in Euros so factor in any bank charges. If possible use a fee free credit card or currency card.

Yes, we did this on the French site (had also considered the German site, but the French offer at the time worked out better for us.)

We did have a bank charge as we don’t have credit cards, but we’d factored that in, and it still worked out much better value than the U.K. site. The bank called us to check the transaction, as it was a large amount in another currency, but it was fine once we confirmed we had authorised it.

Just make sure you pay via Halifax or Post Office credit card if you can. Then you get actual exchange rate.

I used my revolut card, and cos it's basically made for this kind of transaction, there were no fees. It could be worth your while getting one of those, or something similar. Xx

Yup, I paid a deposit, then the rest a few weeks later. I think the biggest amount was around £500 or so, no problem at all. Plus revolut shows it straight away with the app. X
