Mobile How much did you pay for Premium Economy?

Hi,

We are considering upgrading our economy tickets to premium economy, flying with virgin on the 18th November 2019, just wondered if anyone could let me know how much extra they paid to upgrade? Only looking to upgrade the journey out.

Thanks!

Cost will depend on whether you booked with Virgin direct also it’s worth noting that west bound upgrades are more expensive as you are to pay extra tax if leaving the uk

We booked as a package for next August and told Virgin we were thinking of holding off on the flights until they were released 11 months before.

We were told that if we booked the upgrade to PE, and they end up being cheaper when released, Virgin would honour the cheaper rate. Obviously i've kept the email confirming it just in case!

I will be closely monitoring the Virgin Atlantic Website from September

For our trip in October 2018 we paid £600 extra for the two of us both ways, that was with Virgin Holidays.

We were quoted £3k for 3 adults by VH in store on Saturday. Wanted to add other DS to booking and they quoted just over £2k for the 4 of us return! Still seemed a lot and only reserved so will wait till 11 mth release date. We were also only looking for return only.

Thats not always the case. I've looked at prices for next June and there's little difference between VA Premium and TUI premium especially if you factor in an extra case on the TUI flight
