Discvoery Cove Deal

Hey, I received an email from DC today saying they are going to increase prices in 2018, and you can save if you book now.

Just priced it up for 3 Ultimate swim package direct and its coming in it around $765 around £572 GBP.

compared with

Orlando Attractions £609
F Tix £663

Am I calculating this incorrectly? seems pretty good price, even less if you just want the three parks and exclude Busch.

I'm guessing you're going during mid-season (May-ish time?) when it costs £203 per person from OrlandoAttractions?

I've just priced up the Dolphin Swim with Ultimate package at Discovery Cove's website and it costs $285 + tax per person. So, for 3 people that's $910 in total. And $910 is about £685.

How did you get a price of $765 ?

Ah, ok.

That still works out as $255 + tax per person for the Ultimate Dolphin Swim package (the Ultimate part adds $25 to the price).

So, in total that's $815 when you add on tax. Which is about £615.

OrlandoAttractions would be slightly cheaper - although there's not a lot in it.

I have also just booked by telephone using the early booking offer with no problems for 31st July so high season.

2 x Dolphin swim + 1 x day resort ultimate package.

Total cost for the direct booking was $697.
I also priced it with Orlando Attractions to compare but they were £689 so roughly 30% more !

Guess there is much more of a saving in high season.

Ah so the Florida Tax isn't included in the online direct price? That explains it! Doh!

Yeah, you have to add on tax. The website doesn't make it obvious until you go through the booking process and see that the final price is 6.5% more than you thought.
