Booking Fast Passes and Activating Tickets

Hi all,

I'm aware you can book your fast passes 30 days in advance at Disney when staying offsite and have reminders in my calendar to do this, however, due to circumstances beyond my control we may have to postpone our trip (and start claiming travel insurance for flights, accomodation etc).

I'm not sure whether travel insurance would cover our tickets but I'm not so concerned about this because I'm confident that if we do have to postpone then it will still be this year and as far as I know the tickets 14 day ultimate tickets will activate on first day of use at any time this year.

What I'm not sure about though is whether going ahead and booking the fast passes for our current planned dates will affect the activation of our tickets. Does anyone know? If I book fast passes then we have to postpone, will that activate our tickets for the dates the fast passes are booked?

No, booking fastpasses won't have any affect on your tickets. If you do have to postpone, just cancel the fastpasses
