Does anyone know roughly how much a ticket is and an express pass. And do you need an ordinary park tickets if your just going in for the night for HHN.

If you you have an express pass would you get most of the houses done in one evening

You don’t require a park ticket, it’s a separately ticketed event. Have a look on Orlando Informer for all the info you need.

There is a skill to getting the most out of HHN, and as already stated Orlando Informer is the go-to source for up to date information.
In a nutshell here are some key points.
1. Frequent Fear passes are usually better value than a one night pass and will give you access to every night HHN is on except Friday and Saturday.
2. If you have a park ticket you can ‘Stay and Scream’. This is where you enter the park prior to them asking non HHN guests to leave and are put in a holding area. You are then released before they let HHN guests in the gate and you get a head start on the houses - meaning you can easily get three done before the queues get too big. Do this for 3 nights and you won’t need to buy an express.
3. If you do only do one night then express is key - but bear in mind on a busy night express line queues can be in excess of an hour per house. The chances are you will also miss out on the shows and scare zones.

Prices for HHN were around $85 per night (depending on what night you go) but we’re discounted slightly if you had a regular park ticket. Express passes are also tiered depending on the date and go from $80-$140.
Frequent Fear passes started at around $100 and went up to $600 if you include express pass with it. (Not really necessary if you can go on multiple nights).

Just to add we didn’t have regular park tickets when we went to HHN in October just past as we were only there for a week. We bought ours from the official site using a code for the coke promo and paid $59 + tax each. We booked 1 night at Cabana Bay so we went in via a separate side entrance for onsite guests so didn’t have to queue at the main entrance. As above though if you do have park tickets you can stay in one of the holding areas inside the park instead. We didn’t get express passes and managed to do 5 houses. Probably could have managed more but the kids wanted to do some rides too. This was the 11th October, maybe later in the month will be busier.
