I sincerely hope so because it is getting a bit ridiculous now !

If I had a refundable hotel rate, I would be cancelling. I’m so deflated. I can’t find anything on any news and rumour outlets about the refurb being extended. It’s like hardly anyone has even noticed.

It has put a right dampener on it. This trip is quite a big deal to my niece. She loves Disney and couldn’t afford Florida. I haven’t said anything to her because I don’t want to spoil it.
I understand that maintenance needs to be done but it seems like the park has been neglected for years and it is all being done at once. I couldn’t make my mind up between October and May half term when I booked but May
2019 seemed too far off !

I wish we could get definite details but obviously Disney want to keep quiet because of losing bookings.

Phantom Manor is scheduled for autumn and is expected to be open in October.

I think Ratatouille is due to subsidence so is a necessity rather than normal planned maintenance.

Tower of Terror is an external refurb so shouldn't see significant closures. They try to only have one long term closure at a time

But the Disneyland website says the end of October?

I think the expected date is Halloween week but still in October, if late October. Dates can move depending how quickly Imaginering hand it back to the park to run. POTC was one of the earliest hand overs they've done.

I was planning a quick trip in October to get a final use from my AP but I might have a rethink now, with so many closures the queues for other rides/shows will be ridiculous

Ah, I though end of October literally meant it wouldn’t open until Halloween. Did POTC open earlier then stated after it’s refurb?

I think POTC was shown as closed January to July but was officially reopened on July 24th though it actually opened around the 14th and AP holders got early access for testing around the 11th.
