Kids clubs on the Disney Magic

Hi guys,

We are doing the Transatlantic to New York next September and our kids at the time will be 9 and 13. looking at the kids clubs on board it will mean they will be split between the oceaneers club and edge, would our 13 year old be able to join his sister in oceaneers or are the age ristrictions strict? I just cant see our daughter going in on her own as she is shy and our son isnt the most outgoing child either. Also can anyone give me advice on the availability of wifi packages and roughly how much they cost?

Thanks

Sue

A 13yr old cannot 'age down' I'm afraid. DCL are very strict on that. Children can 'age up'. but not a 9 yr old unfortunately, she is still a little too young.

During Open House, you can all go in to each club when they hold them. I would strongly advice that your 13 yo goes to his club on the first day as that's when a lot of friendships are formed and the counsellors do a great job of getting interaction from them all.

I would go there first, then go to Lab/Club for your 9 yr old - you can all go in. Lt her explore it, get her talking to the counsellors if you can as that will definitely help.

For t'interweb packages, the top one is $89 and it's 1000mb. I can make that last for a tranny cruise, but it's only whats app messages and checking FB maybe. Go to see the t'interweb man on day 1 and he will switch everything off that will suck up the data. You get a free 50mb on day 1 only. Register different email addresses and you get more than 1 lot.
