Planning help

Hi all,

Just after some quick advice while I'm putting together a rough itinerary. We're staying onsite for the first time in May for 2 weeks...I know I'm early putting together a plan, but I'm off uni for the summer and when I start back in Sept I'm into my hons, so trying to get the bulk of planning done pre uni.

First question - during extra magic hours are FPs available?

Second - I'd read online that when you're an on site guest to not give too much attention to crowd estimates, but instead focus on the parks with the EMH. Is this something you'd advise?

I've got predicted hours through another planning site so I'm using them to formulate some kind of plan!

Only my DH has been to an extra evening hours and he said it was packed and no FP available (I am not sure if they are not issued or he just couldn�t get any himself). We actively avoid evening hours ever since.

On the other hand extra morning hours are good for onsite guests. I wouldn�t want to use a FP during that time.

I did some digging last night and FP are not provided during EMH.

In my experience, EMH in the morning are great. At magic kingdom you get to do at least 3-5 rides before the normal day starts and the FP bookings open.

A little advice- don't use your first FP earlier than 10am. Because within the first hours of park opening the queues are reasonable and you would be surprised how much you can get done. Save the fast passes for later. I tend to book them for 10am, 11am and 1pm or 2pm after lunch.

When it comes to EMH evenings it can be hit or miss. Everyone who stays on property can do them so more people tend to remain out at the parks. Much more busy and the queues can be just as long as during day times!
